What we do.
We are a brand new woman-led neuroinclusive and authentically intersectional, creative health, visual arts led, grassroots social enterprise. Based in Derby city we are guided by lived experience and dedicated to reducing health inequalities and widering opportunity for disabled people.
Our brilliant, hard working team brings together the creativity, talent, spirit and energy of women from all backgrounds. We proudly represent a variety of communities and voices within our team including global majority women, women from the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent women, and women of different faiths (and none) including Muslim and Christian.
All projects, operations and core work is co-designed with our neurodivergent community and led by neurodivergent thinking and creation, working with neurodivergent individuals and supportive organisations. We carefully and accessibly consult on activities, collecting feedback on projects and events to form new ideas and challenge current thinking, championing the principles of Universal Design.
The Good Works Collective is created by and operates with shared values, a desire for equity and social justice, lived experience of neurodivergence both as carer and cared for, we are a creative force for social good, creating lasting change.
